A talk entitled "History of Timperley" by Hazel Pryor in which she will be looking at the development, farms, buildings and some families who lived in Timperley. Hazel Pryor has extensive knowledge of this subject and has also co-written a book with John Hitchens called "Altrincham Gardeners' Society (a hundred years of professional gardeners). There is a bookstall at all of our meetings at Park House, where a wide selection of CD's/DVD's, microfiche and books are available for sale. Please feel free to come and browse. Members and non-members welcome. Free to all. |
