The North West Group of Family History Societies’ Annual Conference 2008 Admission: £18 per person including buffet lunch plus morning and afternoon tea/coffee and biscuits. Admission is by advance booking only. Applications to be received by 14 April 2008.

The title of the conference is “What Did they Do Before 1837? – The Parish and its Records” The speakers will be: Mr Richard Bond on what is available in Manchester Central Library Archives & Local Studies Mr Alan Rose on Methodist records Fr David Lannon on Roman Catholic records Mr Peter Park on The Parish Chest. Public transport is readily available from Piccadilly Bus station, Manchester. Details will be sent out with booking confirmation.
