A talk entitled "Work of the Archives and Local Studies Service" by Paul Newman, Senior Archivist at the Cheshire Record Office. The talk will include an overview of the archives and local studies collections, with discussion of some specific examples, what goes on at the Record Office, a look at their website, who uses the Archives and Local Studies Service and some discussion about where we go next to meet the demands of future generations.
Members and non-members welcome. Free to all.
