Cheshire Burial Database (Services)
|
CHESHIRE BURIAL DATABASE Can't find a particular burial? It could be on our database of 431,347 burials. All of these are now published and are also available to search on-line at findmypast.com (chargeable service).
10 -15% of burials are of people brought back to be buried in a family grave - some from nearby Cheshire parishes but others from adjoining counties and a few from far distant ones. Please consult the list of publications for places and dates on the database as the likelihood of finding anyone resident in South Cheshire or after 1900 is very small. We will extract all records of a named person. It helps to have the date and place when last known to be alive, e.g. Joseph HIGGENBOTHAM, 1851, Stockport. Please note that we do not search on surname only -- you must give a forename.
For £3 (UK & Europe); £4 (rest of world) per name you would get a list of burials, regardless of the number of pages, with full details from Parish registers, of ALL Joseph HIGGENBOTHAMS buried between 1851 and 1951, also a list of parishes on our database, with dates covered, so that you will have a record of places you need not search if your ancestor is not amongst those listed. [Variants, e.g. Josh/Jos/Jo and HIGINBOTHOM/HEGINBOTTOM, etc. will be included.
We can email the results of the search to you, in which case the charge for rest of world is only £3.
